Makita DGA504RT1J – 18V LXT Brushless 125mm Angle Grinder with 1 x 5.0Ah Battery, Charger and MAKPAC Case

Cordless cutting and grinding power with a brushless motor

Makita DGA504RT1J is an 18V LXT cordless angle grinder designed for professional cutting, grinding and metalworking. Its brushless motor, compact body and 125mm disc capacity make it a practical choice for workshop jobs and site work where you need reliable performance without a mains cable.

Supplied with a 5.0Ah battery, charger and MAKPAC case, this kit gives you the essentials to get started while keeping the tool protected and organised between jobs.

Key Benefits

Brushless motor for efficient performance

The brushless motor helps improve runtime and service life while keeping the tool compact. Automatic speed control adjusts performance to suit the work, providing high speed for cutting and increased torque when grinding.

125mm disc for everyday workshop tasks

Compatible with 125mm discs, the DGA504 handles common cutting and grinding jobs on metal and other suitable materials. With a no-load speed of 8,500 rpm, it offers the speed needed for controlled, productive work.

Safety features for greater control

Soft start helps the grinder build up speed smoothly, while the anti-restart function helps prevent accidental start-up after a battery change. Electronic overload protection and an LED warning indicator provide additional support when the tool is under heavy load or the battery charge is running low.

Comfortable handling and added protection

The slim motor housing provides a secure grip, particularly useful when working for extended periods. Makita's XPT protection technology is designed to improve resistance to dust and moisture, making the grinder better suited to demanding working environments.
